Mom is Art commissions artists to create varying styles of artwork celebrating moms and motherhood. Each artist is a mother and incorporates their life experiences into their artwork. We are proud to display a sample of each artists work as well as links to contact them. We look forward to expanding our gallery.

I’m a mom and I’m an artist, loving them both. I have worked hard to be the best mom and artist that I could be. I am honored to be included as one of the “Mom is Art” artists, expressing the value and spirit of motherhood as a higher vocation. As mothers, we wear many hats and make countless sacrifices for our precious children. And for that… we are immensely blessed. I love my life and it wouldn’t be the same without my children or my art.

Mom is Art is a project I started with the coming arrival of my second child. The images I create are ones that not only show the joy and tenderness of motherhood but also the lasting memories created through the tiniest things from bubbles to story time.

Developing my painting provided me with an opportunity to express my creativity with color and energy. As on OB/GYN Physician, Mom is Art provides a great venue to celebrate the art of motherhood and the thousands of mothers and women of all ages, shapes, ethnicities and personalities that I have had the honor and privilege of helping and knowing!
Being a mother is an attitude, not a biological relation.
